I need a workbench that's somewhat portable as I'll be moving again by the end of the year. Saw this one at Lowe's the other day for $250. Any deals out there that y'all have found?

I saw one that was 3' x 6' made by Husky that was adjustable height for $229 at Home Depot. They also had a smaller one that was 2.5' x 5' for $179.

Looks like it was made for a toddler. Is that 3/4" pine?

Might as well wait and build a custom one to suit for your new home.

I eventually will do that, but I need something NOW.

And yeah, the picture doesn't do it justice. It's a sturdy table as I saw it in person and put my hands on it.

Portable Workbench - Amazon
I bought one of these to use out in my yard when I built the platform for my shed. Surprisingly sturdy and has worked quite well so far.

ETA: I still have one that I built into my garage that I have my vice, compound miter saw, and all of my main tools stored. I think the one linked won't suit those needs.

Harbor Freight sells them for $100.

Nice! Hell, at that price I'd almost want two of them.

I have that Harbor Freight one, bit of pain to assemble the drawers but overall has been great for basic tasks.

Use their ubiqitous 20% off coupons for more savings. I bought a HF workbench with the built in light, outlets, and peg board. Works well enough for home use.

I bought this one at Home Depot late last year. Workbench

It is fully assembled and just folds out. Was around $85 when I got it back in November.

No complaints about it either. I've mounted my vise to it and I've worked on a fair amount of projects on top of it so far.

It has held up well and I'm thinking about getting a second one.
