Tried a blanket spray of Hi Yield Atrazine for the first time about noon on Wednesday? Since this chemical kills from the roots up, how long do I need go wait before mowing?

I was told by cleggs to either mow and wait three days to spray, or spray and wait at least 3 days to mow

Its been about a week since I've mowed, I wanted to cover as many weeds as possible. I'm kinda of hesitant on mowing this weekend because I already see results in some of weeds with shorter stems, that indicates to me it's working, some of the taller clovers should start to whither in another couple days hopefully.

How did you spray it? I sprayed some with a hose end sprayer with the chemical reservoir set at 1.5 oz and got mixed results. I may invest in pull behind sprayer for more even coverage.

I bought the 32oz bottle and mixed it in my pump sprayer.

I just mowed and sprayed atrazine. What is the thought process for waiting to spray 3 days after mowing?

Weeds better absorb the herbicide through foliage. Mowing reduces the foliage.

Unless you remove your grass clippings, it’ll still work. Like you said, it works from the roots up. Atrazine will not be deactivated as it moves into the soil.
Seven days since your last mow has probably given it enough exposure. Just refer to the label and it’ll probably tell you.
