You use those T shaped transitions from hardware stores that creates a bump? Get everything neat and just grout it? Put a marble strip inbetween? Something else?

Imo anything but a t shape transition will look weird.

The differing heights makes it tricky. I'll have to cut the laminate to make a wider gap between the two floors and then get the T to be thicker on one side than the other. I think you're right tho, that may be the best way to go.

Maybe a T molding reducer?

We used one similar to this shape. The way they installed it was to leave an appropriate expansion gap, liquid nail a thin strip of wood between the tile and (in our case) vinyl LVT plank, then tack this piece to the wood strip. It hasn’t budged in years.

They have a transition piece, made from tile to wood. The underneath has different elevations.

Remember Laminate flooring has to have a little bit of movement.

Go to a real flooring warehouse.

Meeple has the correct answer. If they don’t have one that works with your height differences, you can make your own with a piece of oak and a table saw.
