Honeywell T6 thermostat went blank and is warm when touched

I have two Honeywell T6 thermostats in house. On one the display went out and the thermostat is warm when touched (checked the other and it is not warm at all).
Any suggestions?
ETA: Swapped thermostats and one that was not working does not work on other one. One that was working works on one that went out. Concern is why was one that went out warm to touch?

Throw some water on it to cool it off. Works everytime.

Could have been fried. Did you have any close lightning strikes or is anything else in the house not working?
