Home smoke/CO2 detectors

In a raised home, parking underneath. I have smoke and CO2 detectors in each room and in the underneath parking (for code?). Problem is it went off twice in the last 2 months at 2 am. Whole house was going off as they are all connected. Went around to each alarm and nothing was going on, alarm stops.
I do know when i blow off the underneath with my gas blower i cant get dust or be directly underneath the smoke detector or it will go off.
My question is should/could I remove it and not effect the other alarms? It there just a heat type alarm in case something cathes fire down there?

You might try and change batteries. If it has a battery backup. When changing, it’s best to change all at one time. Some, you are able to disconnect, use the battery backup, find the one making the noise, setting off the others.

Id replace it before flat out getting rid of it. See if it happens again. These things go bad, unlikely a brand new one is bad but it wouldnt be unheard of.

I’m not a builder or fireman but I’be never heard of someone haven gm one on the exterior? I see why it would make sense in a raised home underneath though. I’d bet it’s the exterior one. Are there special ones for outside? I replaced the one by my kitchen recently and it’s very sensitive to heat and if we are cooking something hot without the stove vent on it will set it off.
