I agree Sonos amps are the best. I have 2 sonos amps to push 10 speakers total.
(6 inside ceiling mount for bedrooms/bathrooms)
and 4 outside bose speakers
I have a simple selector switch to turn on/off inside rooms as needed.
It works great for me.
the functionality of the sonos app is the best to be able to control zones from your phone while outside, play TV sound through outside while watching games, etc. Sonos supports pandora and spotify among others also.

They're pretty cheap on eBay too.

But how do you control the volume levels in the different rooms? You can't, right?
And you have to listen to the same source in the entire house, or turn that zone off.
There are better ways to do this, much like a Sonos system, but without the Sonos cost.
