We got some on a plant and these little bastards show up out of no where. They have put a hurting on my wife’s plant. We will go a week without seeing one and once there’s a flower bud they all appear.
Any remedies on how to get rid of them?

Is that the white flies? I have to spray ours with neem oil once a week or they get messed up by them.

I use neem for aphids, spray 2x per week early morning or evening. Also water them and spray those suckers off. I’ve got mealy bugs or something eating mine. One blooms beautifully, the other 2 drop their buds before opening. I don’t think the neem works on these bugs when though pkg insert lists it does.

Been using Bonide Annual Tree & Shrub on mine for several years. Works like a charm.

If yours is a tropical hibiscus, not rose of sharon, swamp rose, etc., I had the same issue. Neem cut them back but not out. After spraying and hosing the plant while it wintered in the greenhouse, aphids came back strong when I put it outside. I was ready to dump it. Not worth the trouble. Then, a couple of ladybugs showed up. They cleaned it up long enough to bloom very well. I'll dump it this fall anyway.

That sounds like mealy bugs. Aphids are tiny black or yellow things in clusters.

As beautiful as tropical hibiscus is to me they are a lot of trouble. I lost all of them after 2 great years and still don’t know why. The 3 I have now are hanging in there, but only one blooms. Not sure what it is but it is pretty. $7 Home Depot special. The bugs like the other 2 so the buds drop bf opening. Those 2 were tropicals from a nursery.
