Help needed getting a lock off my shed.

Good afternoon everyone. About a year ago, I lost the key to my shed. There’s another door on the opposite side of it so it has been accessible. I have given up on ever finding the key.
How in the heck do I cut this thing off?

Just take your time with a cut off wheel.

Ever cut a lock with a cutoff wheel?
It'll blow through that POS lock in less than 10 seconds.

Cutoff wheel guys are right. Don’t hold it with your hand though. Lock some vise grips onto it and hold those.

Cutoff wheel, gloves and eye protection should be enough, or is this going to shoot sparks like crazy? It’s in a small room two feet away from a gas water heater.

Watch a lock pick video on YouTube and pick it. Not hard at all.

Probably not the safest thing to do with sparks going around.
I found these online. I love watching LPL's stuff.

If you can craft your own pick with paper clips, try this out:

Cut the hasp, not the lock, to keep from damaging the diamond plate.

If you need help from this site to figure this one out maybe you should leave the lock and stay out of the shed...too many dangerous tools in there that may get you hurt!

Hammer and bullpin.
But your tools are probably locked in the shed.

Cut through the body of the lock instead of trying to cut the hardened steel clasp.

A large bolt cutter will work. Have done so.

Yep great suggestion. Cut the hasp and just replace it. You won’t have worry about the lock itself.

An angle grinder will open any lock.

Did your dick grow after typing that nonsense? How dare someone ask a home question on a home and garden board.
