Recently had a new patio cover built . 23 x 13’ cover cost around $3k. Very happy with the final product and if anyone needs one in the Metairie area highly recommend Mr. Patio as the company who did the work.

Anyway here’s the before and after

This is one of those why the hell didn’t I do this sooner purchase. Makes outside so much nicer.

I like the guttering. I did one years ago without it and not enough overhang. Heavy rains left everything around the edge splashed.

That’s a great price. I priced one out just before Covid shut downs last year and the cheapest was 6k for 35x16 uninsulated with wood posts. I’m sure it will be higher now.

Looks great, and great price. What's the material you used?

Looks great! We got one a month ago as well. 12' x14' $3500... Exactly like picture below. We love going out there now.

When getting quotes, tell them you want Alumawood or Four Seasons( LINK)

We went with Four Seasons, which also has the "wood" look aluminum as they have a location here in Dallas and it was considerably cheaper than Alumawood.

Cover itself is steel b/c of hail, which is extremely common in Dallas. It's then "wrapped" in the decorative aluma wood stuff with the beams, wrapped 2x6 posts etc. Flat pan also.

We would have rathered a cedar structure, but quotes were $20k+... Not ready to spend that right now and this cover looks really good.

I kinda like that. Does it look metal?

It has wood patterns in the aluminum. My neighbors thought it was wood from their yard, but sure if it would fool them up close.

I just figured it didn't cost much more than just a basic metal patio cover and looks much better imo
