Gargling noise from toilet Update 8.27

New house to me. Have a toilet that is making water running noises. I replaced the flapper and it continued. I decided to replace everything in the toilet. Took the tank off and I still hear the noise. I then turned the water off to the house and still hear the “gargling” noise. The septic system was pumped and approved prior to me taking ownership. Is this a clog waiting to back up? How worried should I be? What should I do before calling a plumber?
Update
I checked the clean out before and after the septic tank. They flow like they should. I only hear the gargling before the tank, not after. There were no back ups on either side though. I got on the roof and flushed the air vent out with my water house. I still have the sound. I then unplugged the aerator and the noise stopped. What does this mean? Is there a stuck valve/flapper on the intake side of the tank? What is my next step?

I had a similar issue last year. My septic tank backed up because the field drain bed was crushed from trucks that drove across my back yard. I’m surprised that yours would be doing that since you had your tank pumped out though.

Plumbing stack issue not allowing the free flow of air into the drains?

I was thinking that. I have to get on the roof to check the vent? It only makes the noise in the “kids” bathroom. The master literally backs up to it and is quiet as a mouse.

They told me it was pumped and gave me the cert for the parish to have the power switched to my name. I’m having some doubts now.

I had the same issue as OP and it was my septic tank as well. I had to get it pumped out.

Could be a pipe misalignment after the pumping. The holding tank could’ve floated back up and fitting broke.
Also, if it was a tail line it could be clogged.

is it gravity fed drain or sump pump? I have sump pump and the check valve gets stuck, and the pump cavitates in the system tank. toilet makes that noise when it happens.

Gravity fed. Sound is constant.

and the other on an adjoining wall is fine
why you worried about the septic tank?

I don’t want sewage to back up into the house. This bathroom is closest to the tank. I may be crazy. It may be normal to hear the aerator in the bathroom. This is my first experience with and aerated system.

I had this issue and one of the possible problems could be the holes around the inside lip are clogged from hard water build up. YouTube how to clean these and you'll get the gist.
(my problem ended up being the toilet not being level, which affected the ability to "spin" the water, just FYI")
