I need to buy some kitchen cabinets for the garage. They dont have to be awesome, just builder grade shaker, possibly grey. Home depot has the Hampton bay ones ($1300) that I've seen work well, what else would you recommend?
I'm looking for uppers and lowers 96" worth. Basically overflow kitchen storage with butcher block counter.

Look at some RTA online order cabinets. Price them out and compare.

I just did the same thing in my mud room/pantry. The face and door are solid wood, the frame is mdf board. Make sure you buy the side skin to cover the mdf, it is sold separate.

Cheap wooden cabinets doesn’t sound like the greatest idea for a humid garage but that’s just me. I’ve got the lower end New Age cabinets in my garage and no complaints. They were easy to install and will last forever if not abused.

Look at FB Marketplace, buy a set of kitchen cabinets someone is letting go for next to nothing, paint desired color, hang, profit!

Garage Experts did mine. Great quality. Looks great. Mine has a butcher block and slat wall. I highly recommend the slat wall!!

im in my 3rd house that i installed garage cabinets. here are my suggestions.
1-habitat store, i lucked up one time and they had a load of new soild wood cabinets the prisoners had made in wood shop. i have not seen these again but they always seen to have some decent cabinets in stock.
2-if you can wait until new years, home depot usually has a 30-40 percent off sale on metal husky cabinets. i was able to get 28" x 28" black steel cabinets for about 110 each this winter.

Yeah, I've been to one. There are a couple more here to check out. I dont want to sound boogie, but I dont want some ugly as mismatched ones so it'll be hit or miss.
