Freezer is frosting for the first time and the refrigerator side is not cooking down all the way!

Have you cleaned the coils from dirt lately?

The beeping noise is because the fridge is sensing the doors are open. Could be a bad seal, could be a sensor problem.
Your freezer frosting could be related to this, or could be something as simple as a cube of ice stuck in the dispenser flap keeping it open.

Defrost thermostat not working
You can test the functionality of the defrost thermostat using a multi-meter; it should have continuity when at freezing temperatures, and should be open circuit when the temperature is above 37 degrees Fahrenheit. A lack of continuity means your thermostat will not power the heater, leading to frost in the freezer.

This. You can manually defrost the coils and get 6 months to a year out of it before it happens again.
