Check out Cane Row Nursery & Landscaping in Broussard LA. I finally found a Smith fig thanks to them! Also had varieties I hadn't seen around here. Citrus selection was great as well.

One of my favorite around the Acadiana area for sure. Bought Cape Fear and Desirable pecan trees and a Santa Rosa and Methley plum this week from them this week.

I want to pick up a few other figs from them soon. Got my eye on a Local black fig and maybe another LSU variety to go with my LSU Purple, LSU gold and Improved Celeste.

If you’re in the Lafayette area I would be happy to trade cuttings this fall if you’re interested. I have in ground trees of LSU Scotts’s Black and Yellow, LSU Tiger, Improved Celeste, Celeste, Galbun, VDB and Malta Black. I’d really like to get a LSU St Gabriel, but haven’t come across one yet.

Sounds good! I'm in Breaux Bridge so not far. Most of my figs are young (planted tgis year or last).

In addition to the ones I listed earlier, I have VDB, Black Mission, Kadota and Celeste

Went back and grabbed an Olympian (wife's choice) and a Native Black. They were having a Hurricane sale.

I recommend them, too. Have bought from them a couple times. Nice people and great selection.
