Fiskars StaySharp Reel Mower

I have a mostly bermuda yard and I'm currently using a Honda rotary mower cutting as low as the deck allows. Id say around 1.5 inches. Does the Fiskars reel mower cut under 1" or do I have to spend $1500 on the California Trimmer Reel Mower?

Put smaller wheels on a rotary. You can get it down to .5 for a fraction of the cost.

I think people are buying the Scotts pro right now. There was a good looking California trimmer on FB market in Covington this week. I just got one for $800 like new. Keep searching.

I used to cut a small St Aug lawn with that mower. It was fine at first, did a nice job, but once the lawn was established completely, it beat the shite out of me.

Why not or am I missing sarcasm? The only thing that has kept me from buying it is that I don’t have any battery powered tools. My cost of entry is higher
For OP, the Scott’s Pro 18” is cheaper initially. It cuts down to 1”. Doing a rear roller mod can get HOC down to 1/4”. A few places can get you a kit for those.
