Fertilizer Question?

I want to put something out in my yard to speed up the grass growing. I know it will definitely suck having to Cutrer’s more often but I have some bare spots throughout my yard that I want to try and get covered during the growing season this year. TIA

If you have a warm season grass then your growing season is more than half way over. Grass type, how big is the bare spot, sun or shade, weedy yard? Picture would help.

I have had really good success with Miracle Gro lawn food. It’s a PITA to apply though. I have been putting off a second application on my front yard but it filled in nicely after the first one. You’re a little late to the game tho.

Do some research on Milorganite or another slow release nitrogen fertilizer. I used it around Memorial Day and my lawn loved it.
