Gonna be in the 40s next week.
post any links that you suggest.
Last year, I went with the soft heat but the blanket quit after a few months.
Sunbeam still the best?

My wife (no pics) and I have found a heated mattress pad to be more comfortable than a heated blanket. You can get them in dual zone too.

We enjoy our sunbeam mattress warmer with duel temp controls.

This is true. Turn it on an hour before you go to bed and it is all toasty. Then you just need a comforter on top. I fall asleep like a baby with that heated pad on there.

I'd never have one after what happened to my wife. We had a party and she imbibed in wine a bit more than normal and eventually went to bed.
Somehow during the night there was a slight short that caused a hotspot in the blanket and she eventually woke up with a burn on her right shin that was a deep 2nd degree to light 3rd degree burn.
That thing stayed nasty for a couple months before healing and it has left a nasty scar with a slightly discolored depression showing on her shin.
How she slept through that is anybody's guess and has me totally perplexed.
I can't imagine a few glasses of wine rendering anyone that out of it to not feel that pain coming on.
