I have some furniture and picture frames that have drywoods frass coming out. Just a couple of pieces.

I have put these in a large plastic bag. I connected the bag to my car exhaust with a shop vac hose.

I am dosing the bag with car exhaust.

What says the TD Forum? There was once an internet where I could search for this kind of information readily. However a conflagration of 1) AI nanny-ism about the dangers of CO; 2) Google now pre-editing all the DIY forums out of its search results (not profitable to sell merch) and 3) AI generated garbage blogs has gor me seeking help form the TD peeps.

Seal them up and use an ozone generator. Guaranteed death. Furniture won’t smell like car exhaust after.

I wouldn’t do that. Car exhaust contains a lot of water…that’s why you see it frequently dripping from a tailpipe. Just seal them in a bag along with a disposable hand warmer (Hot Hands, etc). That will consume all of the oxygen and kill them .

Call around your area and see if any exterminators offer gas fumigation or heat treating furniture. Antique shops might give you recs.

All you are doing is killing them with carbon monoxide. I would assume just putting them in a plastic bag would kill them also.

Termites die super easy. You can just spray some talstar or any pesticide really and they will die quickly

Wouldn't putting them in a bag with a jar of rubbing alcohol with holes in the lid work just as well?

Call any pest control company has a fumigation license. They can fume it with methyl bromide

They can put the furniture in a small tent and fume it

Carbon monoxide will not penetrate the wood as the methyl bromide will.
