Looking for:
• Double French doors
• 24” each door (48” total opening)
• 8-foot height
• Interior doors preferred
Checking local suppliers, salvage stores, builders, or custom door companies. Any recommendations appreciated.
Trying to avoid The Corbel, only because I don't want to pay triple.

If you’re looking for antique, try The Bank in New Orleans. Lots of options. Can maybe call them to make sure they have some options for your specs.

You’re looking for Charles Phillips in Daphine, AL. Its 8 warehouses full of doors, windows, antique salvage. I do interior decorating on the side & took clients there. It’s wholesale prices, but open to the public. The Corbel & Bank probably buy from them. No ac though, so go soon! Totally worth the drive.

The Green Project in New Orleans; there will lilely be some work getting them new showroom shine. Might need some carpentry skills building the framing too.
Also look at Restore locations.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I don't mind taking a short trip to either NOLA or Alabama to save a good chunk of cash.

It is in Theodore, but yes, great place.

Do you work from home? The glass in French doors transmits a lot more sound than you think, so ask them how you can mitigate it if it's a need. Ex wife and I both WFH, and especially when the kids were home during the summer it was a minor issue.
And not that you asked, but depending on which direction your office window faces, when you close the doors, your office may end up 6-7 degrees warmer than the rest of the house. I tinted my office window (all windows facing South and West.)

Based on the site plan, my office will be on the east side of my house.

Mostly, no. But every once in a while.

I'm not opposed to going with all solid core French Doors.
