My GE dishwasher - GDP645SYN2FS will start and then stop 2-3 minutes after starting. When it kicks on, the light turns orange per usual, and I can hear the water start to spray, but then it abruptly stops and the light shuts off. Not sure what is going on and would love to avoid replacing it as the unit is rather new. Any suggestions?

Bad thermostats will cause them to kick out. I replace it every couple years due to unfinished cycles (KitchenAid)

Maybe you just replaced the garbage disposal and didn’t punch out the dishwasher block?

Did the OP ever figure out what was going on with this one? I am in the same exact situation. 2 year old GE dishwasher, turn it on, it starts to work and then just stops.
