Anyone have any experience with this? Looking for a ground cover that will grow in between pavers. Is it a pain to deal with?

I have it running around the pathways in between my vegetable garden beds. I bought a packet of 10,000 seeds on Amazon for like $8 and just scattered them around haphazardly in the walkways. It stands up to foot traffic ok and smells just like thyme I would grow as an herb. It flowers in a few different colors (red, yellow, orange, purple) which is annoying because the packet said the flowers would be blue, but whatever. It's decent ground cover but it does let some grassy weeds grow too as it only gets like 4 inches tall at the most. I hit it with the weed eater every couple weeks when it starts to intrude on the beds or my lawn. It looks ok, but not cultivated. It would do well as ground cover in a wildflower bed or on a path through a wildflower garden, but would look very out of place in a more formal garden with trimmed hedges or bushes.
