Crawfish basket missing a handle. Any DIY Solution?

I also posted this on F&D, but was hoping someone here may be able to help.
I have a basket for an 80 qt pot that is missing a handle. Is there any way I can make one, or purchase one, that wouldn't require any very specialized tools?
I got this second hand and it doesn't have a brand name on it, so it is not as simple as just contacting the manufacturer.

Piece a #9 wire, pair of pliers. You're not building a piano.

Yep, as simple as that. Have an upvote for pointing out the obvious.

So cut a wire and bend it to shape with pliers? If I can bend a wire with pliers, wouldn’t that make it too light of a gauge for a crawfish pot?

Or the hooks you use on a jambalaya pot.

I've got the same size pot with the wire aluminum handle and it is very easy to bend just with my hands. Once you get it through the holes where it attaches to the basket and bend it over to form a closed loop, it will suffice.

Go to Tractor Supply and buy a piece of 3/16 or 1/4 aluminum rod. Bend it to the shape you want. You may need to heat the ends for a sharp bend.

Honestly, I see you can get an new one from Wayfair for $34….you’re likely to spend that much to make something yourself.

Welp - I called around to a few different metal fabs nearby until somebody picked up. The one that did answer the phone, was a metal bending shop and said they could do it but didn't know what a crawfish pot basket was. I took the basket over there, along with an example of another basket with its handle. They made me a new handle in 10 minutes and just wanted $20.
All in all, I'm happy with it. I probably could have done this all myself but it would have taken me a while since I don't have all the tools the bending shop had, and I probably would have messed it up.
Thank you everyone for your help!
