Cost to pressure blast driveway and sidewalk?
How is the pricing on that figured, per square foot?

I have about 1000 square feet.

12 pack, $100 rental from Home Depot, 1 pair of big boy drawers and some man-up.

I've gotten to a point in life where for some things, capital has supplanted labor.

Hauling a rental pressure washer to my house, and standing out in the sun pressure washing, and then hauling the washer back to the rental place is one of those.

But thanks for the advice.

Pressure washing is perhaps the most therapeutic and enjoyable maintenance project around the house.

Two hours by myself with no one trying to interrupt me. Sounds like heaven.

1000 sq fr driveway is nothing, that’s like 1 hour of work. I have no idea what your quote would be, but it’ll be a ripoff because he’ll spend more time driving to your house to quote you then to do the work.

If you have a friend with a kid or a neighbor with one id look into borrowing one.

I’m guessing your quote would be like $200. You can’t get anything done for much less anymore.

I hope you are correct. I'd gladly pay $200.
My driveway/sidewalks are almost black because of the mold/ mildew buildup.

I bought an electrical one for $300.

If I use it twice I'm a winner.

I had some guys painting my house, and they also power washed a 750 sq. ft. patio for $150.

Have them use a surface cleaner attachment. Does better and avoids streaks and strips.

Even if I got a free pressure washer, I'd still pay someone to do the actual pressure washing. I work six days a week with my job, I'm not going to spend any of my limited free time pressure washing.

But thanks for your thoughts.

Yeah 1000 sq ft with a surface cleaner takes no time at all.

For the first few weeks, yes. Then the streaks will appear and will be pronounced. But a surface clear is the way to go. For 1000 sq feet, it really would not take that long at all.

Today I saw a guy pressure washing a neighbor's driveway. He looked like the real deal as he had a big gas washer, the surface cleaner, all in a trailer behind his truck. The job he did looked great. I had him look at my driveway, sidewalk, and patio and he told me $150 if I paid him in cash.

So with him charging only $50 more than the Home Depot rental, I won't even had to get my "big boy drawers" sweaty, and I can enjoy that 12 pack of beer sitting in my recliner as I watch him out my window.

As I said, I reached a point in my life where for some things, capital has supplanted labor.

You seem pretty testy about someone questioning your manhood.

Guy will probably do the cleaning while the OP is at work.

Leave some manhood around the house...if you know what I mean.

You must really doubt your masculinity if you somehow need pressure washing to try to validate it.

re: Cost to pressure blast driveway and sidewalk?
I charge 8 cents sqft for flat work, but thatS doing a lot of sqft. A Small driveway would have to be priced higher per sqft.. Id say anything between $100-$150 For 1000 sqft would be fair.
Make sure they use a good chemical Mix and surface cleaner. It’s easy to ruin a concrete pad if you don’t know shite.
