I have the ryobi 18 volt. Was a set with the trimmer. Blower works great. Trimmer works fine as long as it's parallel and not set to edge a driveway. It takes a while to edge as it's a little under powered. The battery does change with my drill as well and it'll use the smaller batteries that my drill uses so I have those as a backup which is nice.

What are you Trying to blow that would take more than 20 minutes ?

I have a 1000sq ft patio. About 2500 sq ft driveway plus walkway in front yard. Also unlike my neighbors I blow off the street area in front of my house after I cut grass. We also get a ton of leaves here in the fall in KC.

Then get an EGO. If you have a cordless power tool family, get whatever is in that family.
Yep, I've had this

Makita blower for a couple years and while not the finest it'll still blow wet leaves any direction you want. However like Neauxla mentioned there's a shop full of other green tools and batteries.

Yes, that's a big area to keep up. The reason i bought the Ryobi 40V is we have a large pin oak about 25 ft off our patio, so in the fall i'm sure you know the amount of leaves i get,on top of that the neighbor has white oaks that also add to the mess.
The Ryobi was bought to handle the patio and carport area, which i'd blow off twice a day when we get a lot of wind,so it's very handy to keep outside the door and take care of the problem, without me having to drop the gate on the lawn service trailer and pull out the gas blower.
What i learned after having the Ryobi in the first fall, was i could blow off what i bought it for and also blow off the 155 ft driveway front porch and 30'x 30' parking area behind the house with one battery.
Now what you have may be bigger but i can make a pass across all that in about 10 mins and it's done.
As for lawn clippings i discharge in so as to not get clippings in the street and driveway, and if some do i blow that off with mower.
Sounds like you're doing some good research so i'm sure whatever you get will work, hope this can help you with your choice as well.
