Condensation in the drum of dryer

I’m stumped.
Getting a little puddle of water in the drum of the dryer. Don’t believe it’s lint built up. Checked vent cap on the roof assuming it was screened, it wasn’t.
Not sure if it plays a part, but humidity INSIDE the home was high. HVAC adjusted coolant levels which hopefully helps with that.

Is the vent line clear all the way through?

Not 100% sure. But the drum is completely dry after use and clothes are drying as normal.
Then after a couple days after not using it the moisture returns.

If the exhaust is clear..Check the exterior exit vent flap is closing and not clogged with lint.. I have to clear it annually..

Had the roofer check it and said it was fine.

Can't happen if vent is open to the outside. You got a clog somewhere.

Reason, your ac system is pulling in hot moist air.

I tend to agree with fish. When it’s high humidity and a low cloud deck like foggy days I see the inside of our dryer get condensation in it. It’s never much and I checked my vent and all is clear

Does it accumulate in there over time, or is this just after the dryer run? Is it still effectively drying items? There is a belt driven blower in there under the drum that is what sucks the hot damp air through the lint trap and out of the dryer. I have found that the gear attached to the driveshaft of the blower can unscrew itself until it comes off. I've had to take the dryer apart, find the gear, put some lock-tite on it and screw it back o to the shaft, the. Get the belt back on it. Zero cost repair as long as you can find the gear and belt under there. I didn't have to remove the drum itself, but it would have been easier it I did.
To be clear, symptoms were: water puddling in the drum and leaking out of the dryer and clothes being scalding hot but still damp after the run

Your dryer vent is plugged. This happened to me once. You dont have enough air flow to get the moisture out
