Hybrid don't reproduce. They only spread vegetativley. To answer the question about common and hybrid mixed-looks like shite. I had two spots of common in the backyard and I had to kill it. It is a lighter green, taller and more seed heads, leaves are wider and more spread out.

I don't have anything intelligent to add, other than saying I have hammered the Bermuda in my yard with atrazine and it doesn't phase it. It's invasive to my St.Aug , so I want it gone. Atrazine has not helped me....
