Well yeah an ounce of Celsius per gallon will kill Dallisgrass. Too much of anything will kill everything. I can return your yard to dirt by putting 33-3-6 at 20lbs per thousand.

No worries. You're fine. A high dose of anything will kill Dallisgrass. Just depends on desired results of the actual turf.

Dang I guess that came from a neighbor? I don't recall ever seeing that in my yard. Celsius doesn't kill it does it? Anything I can use?

St Aug and centipede growing together isn't that noticeable. The better your soil and the more nutrients in your soil the worse the centipede will do.

Thats what I was just reading. I didnt notice it until I saw the big patch of seed heads sticking up. I really need to send off soil for some testing.

damn I have a centipede front yard and didn’t recognize the seedhead - guess I do better job mowing my lawn than I thought. Doesn’t take long for Bermuda, St Augustine, Carpetgrass to throw up a seedhead if you miss a mowing or two b/c of weather, not so much for centipede.

I haven't...damn rain. Last time I mowed I tried to wait a few days so I could spray and it has rained a lot so it pushed it back. Now I sprayed and wanted to wait 2 days...and more rain. I still have some iron, fert, and fungus to apply...wanted to do the weeds first.

So I have seen weeds that I hit dye and the st aig that got sprayed has been stunted. I cut the grass and it has grown only where I didn’t spray. No yellowing really just no growth.
Is it ok to add some iron and fertilizer now? I don’t want the grass to not absorb any and be a waste right now.
