Or, lack thereof.
I knew that the Clegg’s closest to my house has river silt only. That’s an immediate no go due to torpedo grass seeds.
So I called Denham. They said they have “construction” sand. I took that to be similar to or the same as Mason sand so I ordered 4 yards.
Evidently, I was wrong. It contained many rocks larger than a quarter, tons of clay, and smells kind of weird. So I guess this shite came from a river too!
For the love of God, does anyone around BR screen or wash sand?!

These companies have virtually no internet presence. Thank you
I guess I’ll use ‘em next year.

4 Yards for delivery is enough to use a regular bulk material delivery company (ie dump truck). Any construction material supplier (fill dirt, gravel, fill sand, Mason sand) should have Mason sand. A smaller 6 or 8 yard dump truck should be fine.
If you want clean material, also need to make sure they wash out the truck beforehand. Typically for fill sand or other material, they don’t worry about it being clean, but the masons care. Honestly for yard fill, you don’t need it clean either but it might be better.
