Suck as much of the moisture out of it you can and hang it if possible. Otherwise you need to turn it to dry the other side. Fortunately it isn't humid

How could there be a better season to dry a rug?
When you get a cold front (like right now), hang it up.
Humidity is bone dry with a steady north wind and full sun.

After I pressure washed an 8x10 rug, I laid it on top of a row of Holly bushes that I keep trimmed flat on the top and sides. It took 2 days to dry even with sunny days.

That driveway would look nice if it were pressure washed.

I pressure wash it after the last leaf falls in December. Damn poplars drop leaves in September and cause a problem though.
Wife cannot understand why I do not want to do it in November.
It’s one of those things where, when she asks, you just walk away.

To dry a rug in winter,
1) first blot excess water with towels or a wet vacuum.
2) Place the rug in a well-ventilated area, preferably near a heater or radiator, but not in direct contact.
3) Use fans or a dehumidifier to speed up drying. If possible, hang the rug or elevate it to allow air circulation on both sides.
Note:
Avoid direct sunlight, as it can fade colors. Regularly check for dampness to prevent mold or mildew.
