I live on the coast in South Mississippi so it stays hot well into the winter. Any help is appreciated!

Also, is there a product that’s better than the rest? I’ve heard Spectacle Flo works but let’s be honest…. Its high high cost.

I put down Specticle Flo at max rate (.23 oz per 1k) in October before ground temps reach 70 degrees.
I do split app of Prodiamine in February and another six weeks later once ground temps reach 55 degrees for crabgrass control. Specticle Flo works really well but expensive, on poa!

The best defense is a good offense. How thick is your turf?

A heavy rye grass over seeding will also prevent Poa from getting established.
Of course, over seeding presents its own set of challenges…

I have celebration Bermuda that’s in good shape for the most part. This year is the first time I’ve had to deal with it. I’ve applied one round of Prodiamine and one round of Dithiopyr later in the spring but never in the fall. That will change this year.

When would y’all apply Oryzalin and at what rate? I have some lying around that I want to use this year.
