Bar Keepers works on just about anything. I also use it to clean off the water stains on shower glass too. Make a paste with it and then scrub with a gentle cleaning brush.

They make a liquid paste form of BKF, too. It works about the same and is easier to handle. Good for everything.

My least favorite chore of all is the tub. I got one of these, and it changed my life.

If it ever dies or quits charging, there is an obvious failure mode and an easy fix. Search AVE bathtub cleaner on YouTube. Ours quit charging after a couple uses, and I remembered what he said. I checked it, fixed it, and it is still going after 3 or 4 years now.

Go vinegar and water or bleach and water in a spray bottle.

After you shower, spray it and let it sit for a little while and then just wash it off.

You will never have soap scum

CLR and a scrub brush

CLR is tried and true. Just let it sit for a few minutes and work it’s magic before scrubbing.

Barkeepers secret works wonders in showers and sinks as well.

Yep, white vinegar and dawn. Best thing that I have found.

I use a spray bottle with Clorox and a little water mixed in. It removes the soap scum but you have to put something over your nose so you don't inhale the fumes. Last year my neighbor was rushed to the hospital because she mixed Clorox and ammonia. Her husband found her unconscious in the bathroom with the spray bottle near her. He said that when he entered the bathroom his eyes started to burn and he said that he started coughing real bad. That concoction must be some pretty powerful stuff.

It depends on whether it’s just soap scum, or whether there is mineral build-up, too.

This product is made from orange peels, and contains some of the same compounds (terpenes) that give turpentine its characteristic smell -- it has a slight smell of turpentine & lemon.

But it contains no acids, no abrasives, and is completely non-toxic.

It will NOT work on any mineral build-up.

But soap scum (in MY experience)?? Fold a paper towel, and saturate. Soap scum comes off with one swipe.

WARNING: If you’re cleaning tile, DO NOT allow it to get onto grout -- it’ll sink in, and you may not be able to get the smell out.

But on non-absorbent surfaces (or clothing that’s going through the washing machine) it’s like witchcraft (on soap scum, and lots of other stuff):
