Poplar, Tag Alder, Maple, for the most part.
Cleared a dam of trees all 6 inches or less in diameter over the winter, and of course they are all sprouting back now.
What can I buy without any special license that will kill them all dead with as few treatments as possible?
Or am I better off not wasting my time and just hiring someone with licensed hard core stuff to spray it?

Crossbow or remedy. When the label has a rate to control 12” diameter trees u know it’s good. Lol.
Old timers use remedy per label and diesel in lieu of water for scorched earth control. used to be a rather inexpensive way but now thanks to Brandon would cost u a fortune.

This, or anything with Triclopyr in it. Be careful with it around trees you like. It will kill privet.

50% Garlon 3A 40% water 10% Imazapyr. Mix in that order. Use to treat cut stumps or hack and squirt.

I would just spray them with glyphosate anytime foliage starts sprouting. That will kill them.

I’ve been spraying the round up on neighbors paper mulberry runners sprouting in backyard. Just spraying doesn’t seem to kill the root. A couple drops of straight chemicals on a cut root does the trick very quickly.

If you are cutting the trees it’s best to do it in the winter and I then apply roundup concentrate (w/o the water) ti the lower stump end and that usually does it. Works on all trees and vines. One application and that is it. Unless you miss some of the vines or trunks
