I have a window box that I want to plant something in to hide my neighbor's ugly shed when I look out my kitchen window. But I keep killing everything b/c I forget to water it. Can someone recommend some forgiving plants?

ETA: my last victim was rosemary

I’ve had very good luck with asparagus fern “sprengeri” in my window box. They can take a lot of neglect.

It is very drought tolerant but in a box or pot most anything needs water. Maybe horsetail Reed, red yucca or a dwarf bamboo would survive

Anything you plant has to be watered to get established. Drought tolerant is a relative term and does not mean “can live without being watered”

Succulents can go a week or so without water
