I have a flower bed that has box shrubs in it that the Bermuda grass has overtaken...is there something I can spray to kill the Bermuda without harming the shrubs?

Fusilade

Fusilade will knock out bermuda but check the label to see what it is safe to spray around.

Just making sure that what you are dealing with is in fact bermuda and not torpedo grass. I have the latter constantly encroaching my flower beds and its a constant battle to contain the spread and a war I will never win. Dealing with that stuff makes you feel like you are being punished for something!

Sethoxydim

Read the label and follow instructions, and mix with the oil concentrate. May takes a couple weeks to show it full effects. LINK. If boxwoods aren’t listed on the label just google to make sure to make sure of safety on that plant, or check with your parish/country extension agent.

There are different brand names of the same product with sethoxydim available for purchase. Fertilome Over-the-Top 11 is just one of a few that I’m aware of.

ETA: Safe to use around boxwoods, they’re listed on the label, missed it the first time I checked.

If indeed it is torpedo. A for sale sign is the only option.
