Sherwin-Willams stores are corporate owned and operated, if that makes a difference to you. The store managers are likely college grads and even part time workers have to be 18 years old minimum. If you have a complaint and the store manager doesn’t make you happy, a call to the District Manager will almost always get some satisfaction.
Both companies make great products as evidenced by the longevity of both companies.

every now and then some architect or designer will spec out some goofy fancy paint and we always sub it out for SW because you can get an exact color match and the price is reasonable for the coverage, and they stand behind their products

Went with Benjamin Moore and colors looks great so far. Each room covered well with one gallon spread over two coats. Frog tape helped where I fricked up cutting in
Our local BM store had 3 employees who each couldn’t have been more helpful. And got a 15% discount because we got so much paint.

I mean, it's where Bobby Hebert buys all of his paint...

100% the best.....yet all major brands have high-titanium paints that are good too....good paint in about 50 bucks/gallon these days.
