Ordered my FIL both individual tools with a pair of extra 18v batteries for Xmas. Wondering if there's anything to point out to him about usage. Our properties join and we have about 25ac of pecan trees he tends to, prunes, etc. Just curious about any feedback. TIA

I’ve used one. We took down a couple trash trees. Used it in some unconventional ways due to the fact we were drinking that day. It’s did a phenomenal job and cut more than I thought it would. No issues. A+

Generally with the pole saws is the motors are a little underpowered so you don’t want to over work them. The best thing to do is allow gravity to apply the pressure to cut and just rest the saw on the top of the limb. You don’t want to force it through.
