Anything you can recommend? I don’t want to clean my gutters once a week anymore

You have a bunch of trees? Most of those, just allow the leaves to collect at the top of the gutters. My friends want to try this.

We'll see if it works

I put leaf filter system on our home in Huntsville AL. We get tons of fall leaves and the gutter guards work wonders.. very satisfied.

I put the metal wire mesh guards. They work alright, but if you have small crap like from a crap myrtle they get stuck in it,

If you have a ton of leaves, there isn’t much you can do. It’ll be a headache regardless.

Do those foam things get filled with crud? Won't they warp?

This is what I have. You still have to knock the leaves off the top, especially before rain, but beats having to unclog downspouts and pull handfuls of leaves out.

I’ll hit them w my blower from the ground and once a month or before an anticipated heavy rain

Really depends on the types of leaves you are trying to keep out. In my backyard I only have a big live oak so fairly big leavers. I went with the metal wire mesh and it works great. Haven't had to clean out my gutters or the mesh since I installed them 4 years ago. If you have smaller leaves you are trying to keep out or pine needles then I don't think the metal mesh is the solution and would need something with smaller openings.

I installed these type myself:

Works well, but once a year after my live oak sheds its catkins (what a lot of people mistakenly call "pollen") I get up on the ladder and hose that stuff off, as it tends to clump.

They also don't last forever, as they are plastic and get brittle. Depending on the amount of sunshine they get, they are good for about 10 years or so.

Leaf filter is not cheap, but it does what they say it will do.
