Results? Thoughts?

Ask your wife about the lawn boy. She’ll give you her thoughts and tell you about the results after they get on the bus for school...

I’ve used them for years with decent results. The guy who normally treats my lawn can identify problems and knows how to solve them. They occasionally send out people who are inexperienced and basically all they can do is start the compressor and operate the sprayer.

We used them for a while. What ended it was one day I was home sick and just happened to hear him pull up. I decided to watch through the blinds to see what I was paying about $75 every month for them to do. He half assed “treated” my lawn in less than 10 minutes. Seeing them in action ended my business with TruGreen. I use a local guy.

I use a local company. Guy owns his own landscaping and lawn business. He has 2 trucks to date and takes extra good care of their lawns. Ive seen him drive out before without the truck just to check on things. I feel like my yard looks great and dont really have any complaints. Also, they are less expensive per application than TG and do 1 extra of my choice. I could probably leave him at this point and do my own, but again, I think they do a great job and a local guy

I have no experience with them but my former neighbor used them for about two years while I was doing my own treatments. I suck at doing treatments and our yards looked basically the same so TruGreen in my area is shite. He switched to Liquid Lawn and his yard made improvements so I started using them as well. No contract and pay by the treatment and the treatments cost about the same as what I would have been paying to try and do it myself so it is a win win for me.

quote:Don't. A previous thread I started was linked in this thread. Cut ties now and run far far away. Read my experience in that other thread. You're better off getting advice and a schedule on here, and getting everything you need from online.
Thoughts?

My neighbor uses them, his looks better than mine. I self-manage with Scott's HALT as a pre-emergent and Bayer 2,4D for spot treating weeds. I use Scotts fertilizer when it is mostly greened up, then again 6 weeks later.
Whatever Tru-Green is doing for my neighbor has better results than my routine.
