Another grass seed recommendation thread
Building on an acre now
Dirt has been dozed all over
Planting seed, hopefully, will deter some erosion
Land has a gentle slope back-left to front-right

What is end goal? Will this be your lawn? No way I would plant Bahia. Maybe mix rye with Bermuda or centipede. The rye will die off in the spring and other should come up. Just don’t put pre emergent down.

Or just hydro seed

It’s a little late in the season for anything but rye to really establish. As mentioned, it will die off in the spring so you’d have to reseed.

I’m not sure if you plant a combination right now if that seed would germinate/dormant, or survive until next spring.

In general, for your lawn I’d recommend Bermuda if seeding. If you have areas with bad slopes, you may want to consider sodding those areas to keep the runoff from cutting them too bad before the seed gets established.

What about fescue? Where are you?

Judging by username “bayou” fescue might not be right for your zone so nvm

Seedsuperstore.com

Get their custom blend for your zipcode and whether the area is sun or shade. It's the best quality you'll find.
