Sow up to 1/2 inch. Fall planting is best but there are some spring mixes. Check out Eden Brothers online. It gives all the info.

What is the process for cutting them back after seeds have formed and dropped? Do you cut high on a lawn mower or are you going in and doing a hand cut a little higher?

I use my weed whacker and if some have thicker stalks, I'll use my hedge clippers. Then I have native grasses that take over in the summer. I don't even own a lawn mower.
