Drain line clogged so it’s dripping in the pan?

Most common issue is the primary condensate drain line is plugged or draining slowly, so the condensate is overflowing into the secondary “emergency” drain pan - that is the water you are seeing.
I would not ignore it - that’s a warning sign for you to have your primary condensate line cleaned/serviced if you can’t do it yourself.

Inside or outside unit?
Outside unit can sweat in high humidity or go through a defrost cycle in cold weather and also drain water on the slab/pad.
