Do they still make a weedeater that don’t use a spooled nylon line but uses individual thicker straight lines that resemble cable ties? You install several individually I believe. I’d love to find one in the 40 V variety. Please help.

I’ve got a 40v “motor” that powers my attachments, one of them is a weedeater that I’ve swapped the head on for an Oregon brand gator string cartridges line.
The ryobi power head 40v with a 5AH battery is ridiculously powerful.

The Craftsman 20V I've had for years has never disappointed me. I bought additional spools of line a year ago, and haven't pulled them out of the packaging. Old school, you're reeling line every other weekend, now, it auto feeds, and is much more resilient.

Most of the better options have replaceable heads where that type can be swapped on too.
