Please God bring the lines back. This format is really uneasy on the eyes. I'm not sure why, I cna't explain it, but it's harder to follow now and looks worse aesthetically to boot.

Well that's an interesting take, considering the overwhelming consensus from his users have all said it sucks and they frickin hate it. So apparently, he doesn't care how it looks.
Or should I say, he doesn't care how it looks to anyone but himself.

Is that how you're judging this situation? The "overwhelming consensus" is that people hate it because 40 or so users have complained about it on the help board?

Consider us le creme de la creme of posters.
We have the frickin balls to ask the hard hitting questions. We represent the poor, tired, huddled masses that would be more organized had their lines not been snatched from beneath them.

I agree that the no lines look is hard on the eyes, but I'm not delusional in thinking the "overwhelming consensus from the users" is that they suck.

just have to get used to it I guess.
Though the look is cleaner, for some reason text doesn't "pop" out as well.

In time, you'll learn to love it. We'll all wonder how we went so long with lines.

He gazed up at the OT Lounge. Twelve years it had taken him to learn what kind of benefit was waiting beneath the underlined thread titles. O cruel, needless misunderstanding! O stubborn, self-willed exile from the loving breast of the Admins! Two bourbon-scented tears trickled down the sides of his nose. But it was all right, everything was all right, the struggle was finished. He had won the victory over himself. He loved the No Lines.

I like it better with the lines but I'm old school. The lines made everything clear.
