Why was the Yankees thread on the MSB anchored?

I feel like you already know the answer, you just wind want to admit it.

I thought the originality of a series-long thread would be appreciated by admins (as opposed to the other carbon copy threads).

I was going with its because you touch yourself at night.

I don't see how one has an effect on the other.

But for real, I actually put a lot of work into mine, compared to the "hey guys post all things Nationals related in this thread!" crowd. So that kind of upsets me.

Why do you hate the Yanks, because everyone else does?

For real though, any chance the ship can sail away?

I think the amount of series-long threads will clog the MSB just as much as official team threads could have the potential to do. That's my guess, but I have no authority here.

All of the daily threads are allowed to stay, and I would argue a series thread is a lot closer, in nature, to a daily thread than a season-long thread.
I have made my case. It's in someone else's hands now.

Series thread eliminates a Yankees/Astros season long thread as long as all fans can comment.

because f&%k the Yankees

Understand that, but what's the difference between a different series thread for each team weekly clogging up the board, and the same season long thread for each team bumped for every series clogging up the board?
Still one thread per team, per series. If this is done with 10 teams, either way, will clog the board.
ETA I don't care one way or the other, just providing my guess as to why. Once again, I have no authority here. Well respected, yes. Authority, no.

No one has ever done this but us (Yankees fans). I started them for a few months in 2012, and a bit in 2013 as well. No one ever had a problem with it then.
Plus the daily Astros, Reds, Braves, and Cubs threads all showed up today.
