I agree, seemed like no big deal at first, but the 'last post' link not working kind of sucks. Please fix this !

I use it to quickly tell how good (involved) a thread is, too. I know I can look at posts in that thread but it's not the same.

I have to retrain my eyes to look at the page/threads.
I read the thread title and have to look over and see how many posts are in there and then move back to click on it.......

Maybe it's just temporary. I don't see how page numbers would use up a lot of resources.

Because it forces you to take an extra click to get where you want thus increasing page views instantly and generating more revenue from advertisers as well as making it look like we're bigger than we actually are.
