What does it mean to get boomed

Only about 100 posts deep on TD and I was boomed by someone after I made my post. Is that a good or bad thing?

It means you were proven incorrect or incompetent by another poster i.e. you got owned.

I saw the booming, it was pretty weak. You just need to learn how to use the quote function.
In your post, highlight the text you wish to quote and hit the quote button.
If you are using the TD mobile version, highlight the text you wish to quote and copy it then hit quote and paste it into the quote space.

Yea, I knew the info was correct so I thought it may have been a good thing but wasn't sure. I was using the mobile version for the first time and wasn't sure how to highlight it. From then on I just hit quote and retyped the info from the previous poster. Thanks, I do it the other way from here on out.
