Tenth Anniversary

In vl100butch's HS thread a few days ago, he mentioned that he joined TigerDroppings on September 10, 2005. I thought that date sounded familiar, so I check my registration date. What do you know; it's exactly two weeks until my Tenth Anniversary.
Ten years may be old hat to the founders, but it's not insignificant. It's "Diamond Jewelry" under the Modern Gift system for a Tenth Wedding Anniversary.
I'm not asking for anything. I appreciate all of the courtesies that have been extended to me, and I recognize that I have been extended many courtesies.
I'm not even sure why I started this thread. Maybe it's because I spent so much time on here over the last ten years. Maybe it's because so much of that time has been very enjoyable. Maybe it's just because it's human nature to mark time.
Or maybe it's because the Traditional Gift for a Tenth Wedding Anniversary is "Aluminum." Please lift something aluminum and join me in a toast: Here's to TigerDroppings on what's soon to be my Tenth Anniversary. The road wasn't always smooth, but I'm glad I traveled it with you.
