I'm not sure this is different (from a message board logistical standpoint) than Cam-gate last year.
Put everything in one thread, so we don't have to see mouth breather's like the guy who STARTED A THREAD about "I don't feel like reading the threads, what's going on?"

Completely different.
That revolved around rumor and innuendo - no heads ever rolled because of it.
This is a child molestation case where arguably the greatest FB coach of all time, the univ. president, AD, and others have been fired, or are on the verge of being fired. Charges have been filed, the feds are investigating, and there seems to be more coming out.
If AU had been found guilty of paying Cam, and the univ. president was fired, Chiz was fired, Cam was stripped of his Heisman, and AU was stripped of it's title - then you damn well bet that the SEC Rant would have been NOTHING but that for a few days.
Just relax - you'll have your precious board back in not too long.

Man I'm not so sure this will go just go away in a few days. This is Big Time National News. Currently there really is no good board to discuss this other than OT.

Well, I think you'll see the amount of threads lessen.
Yes, there will still be some discussion of it, and rightly so, but I don't think it will be as prevalent as it is now.
It's still raw right now, JP just got fired last night, and a lot of people have a lot of opinions on this. There's no way that it could be contained to one thread.

I wonder if the occasional commitments to "clean things up" is just posturing. Having multiple threads may be disorganized, but it has to increase site traffic and, in turn, increase revenue. Right?
