Larry Leo not fixing easily fixable mistakes

Basic typos, misunderstanding the stories he posts, wrong headlines, etc. Errors that commenters point out within 2 minutes and he just leaves it up there wrong. What gives? Is he a real person? Does he just not care?
I've been here 20 years, 17 as a registered user. I don't ask for much. I just want to know what the deal is with Larry Leo. Is that too much to ask?
