Is there a way for the Admins to transfer the abilities of an OP?

Basically, we have a long ongoing thread for our NCAA 14 online dynasty. Its anchored so that nobody else posts in it but the 8-10 members of the dynasty... The problem is that the person that started the thread is no longer a member of the dynasty, and we have lost communication with him. We would like to be able to do things like edit the thread title and edit the OP with newer information. That way everyone in the dynasty can use it as a quick reference. Is there a way for us to do this without starting a entirely new thread?

Thread in question As you can see, its pretty lengthy and has alot of information so just editing the current thread would be ideal. Is there a way the admins can transfer the ownership of the thread to one of us? Or give us the ability to edit the OP?
