I don't understand the search function on this site for the life of me

I type in a term for subject in past 7 days and get ONE hit.
I type it in for the past 14 days and get the same ONE hit.
I go anything beyond that and get "search is very broad...showing recent results" and get that same ONE hit only and nothing else.

search it on google... the search function here is less... functional.

Can't say how many times I starved for something started a thread when I didn't see it and got hit with Germans right away. I don't get it either.
Sally is right. Google "site: Tigerdroppings.com " works better.
